Title: Wave At Me

Age: 2 Years

The artist was tired, and while the green stars held his attention for a brief amount of time, it was his father who was ultimately tasked with finishing the piece with a black pig.  A nap was soon to follow.

With stars in his eyes, the artist took to the pen like a fish to water on this day.  They say that when you wish upon a star, it makes no difference who you are.  Of course it helps to be an artistic genius who just so happens to crap your own pants now and then…

Title: Strike Hard

Creation Date: 02/17/10

Age: 2 Years

The artist attacked the canvas with such fervor that his Dad was forced to remind him that the tools he was using were in fact quite expensive.  This enraged the artist, resulting in a sea of angry colors and brush strokes.  When he was done… he slept.

Title: Four Pigs and a FUN-eral

Creation Date: 02/07/10

Age: 2 years

Pigs were in high demand on this day, as the artist just couldn’t find the inspiration needed to focus.  Please notice the purple line.  I’m not sure why, but the artist said, “Look, Dad, purple!” so I felt it important to draw your attention to that line.

Creation Date: 01/30/10

Age: 2 Years

A combination of lack of sleep and teething lead to the artist demanding that, after a couple of quick scribbles, his Dad draw a train from the television program “Chugginton.”  He then dumped his milk on the floor, and bolted from the room in a huff.  This was not a good day for anyone involved.

Age: 2 Years

With his second Birthday only days behind him, the artist had many new distraction (read: toys) that kept him from focusing completely on this day.

Title: Day of the Comet

Creation Date: 11/28/09

Age: 1 Year

Cookie and juice box in hand, the artist asked for another turn at the canvas on this day, and with the sugar raging through his very soul, he created this stunning masterpiece.  Then he took a nap.

Age: 1 Year

Every artist goes through a blue period at least once in their lives.  Sebastian’s came at 11 months, and lasted an hour until his Mom returned from the store with a juice box and a cookie.

Title: From Behind

Creation Date: 11/24/09

Age: 1 Year

While he often scoffs at the airbrush, on this day it was the perfect tool to express the pain he felt from the new teeth being cut inside his angst-filled mouth.  You can almost feel the rage emanating from the canvas.

Title: Sweeping Changes

Age: 1 Year

Sweeping gestures frame the orange pig.  The artist was tired, and the strokes didn’t come easy on this day.
